Here’s a dream scenario for you: hanging out in beautiful Northern Spain, mingling with your friends and peers, and getting a first-hand look at one of the hottest new vehicles Ford has to offer. For attendees at Ford Fleet Expo 2017 held near Valladolid, Spain last month, that dream was reality.

The event, which took place at Finca El Pinar and Castilla Termal, was open to representatives of “top fleet customers, leasing companies, rental companies, and residual value guide books.” These guests were treated to up-close-and-personal experiences with the new Fiesta, including presentations of the luxurious B&O PLAY sound system, cutting-edge Driver Assistance Technolgy, and the latest evolution of the Fiesta design language.

There were more than just Fiestas on-hand at this particular fiesta: a number of Ford SUVs and commercial vehicles, as well as vehicles representing higher-end luxury trims like Vignale and Titanium, were available for guests to check out. There was even an appearance by the coveted Ford GT supercar.

“The star here in Spain is our new Fiesta, and we’ve got ST-Line, Vignale, and Titanium models here for our fleet customers to drive,” said Wolfgang Booms, Executive Director, Fleet, Rental, and Remarketing Sales, Ford of Europe. “This new Fiesta is strong in residual values and lower on servicing costs by about 20%. The customers love driving the car, and love experiencing the car in this place.”

“I’m convinced that from this experience our Fleet customers will get into Fiesta quite quickly and that we will see a lot of Fiestas being driven by business users soon,” Booms added.
