Customized 1989 BMW E30 M3 Selling On eBay For $224,500
Fans of popular automotive shows like “Top Gear” or “Street Outlaws” might find it interesting that a customized 1989 BMW E30 M3 is being auctioned on eBay for $224,500.
Why the hug price tag?
Because this M3 has been fitted with a 5.7-liter V10 engine that produces a reported 628 hp and 480 lb-ft of torque. The suspension from an E90 M3 has also been added to the machine, along with larger brake disks.

The customization work for this car was done by Virginia’s Piper Motorsport. They are calling this piece the BMW E30 M3 “Frankenstein” and are branding it as street-legal and race-ready on their eBay post. After all of the work was done, this customized M3 weighs a reported 3,00o pounds, which is 150 pounds more than the stock model.
The car only has 30,ooo miles on it and hasn’t been involved in any accidents. Bidding ends on June 17th at 4 pm.
No bids have been made, so far. It will be interesting to see if anyone is willing to dish out $224,550 for this “Frankenstein” version of the BMW E30 M3.
