This is the Mitsubishi Outlander Sport. This is not Dan Booth, who was named President of MMCA on Tuesday

Today is Election Day, and so there will likely be a lot of hoopla about who won, who didn’t, what referendums passed or failed, and how everything that is wrong with the world around us is ultimately entirely because of President Barack Obama. There is one particularly important role that is being filled today that might end up being lost in the shuffle. We’d like to give some special attention to this particular individual and his new role. That individual is Dan Booth, who takes over the position of President of Mitsubishi Motors Credit of America.

“Dan is a tremendous asset to the company and he’s the right person to be taking over the leadership position at MMCA because of his knowledge of its operation and his membership on their Board of Directors,” said MMNA Executive Vice President, Don Swearingen. “We thank Jeff Young for his ten plus years of service and we wish him well in his new endeavors.”

Booth began his career with Mitsubishi in 1988 when he served as a staff accountant in manufacturing. Over the course of 26 years, Booth has worked his way up the ladder and into different positions with the company.

In 2002, Dan Booth was named EVP and CFO of Mitsubishi Motors North America Sales and Manufacturing, and he has been a member of the Board of Directors for Mitsubishi Motors Credit of America for the past 12 years. Booth is also a current member of the MMNA Board of Directors and Executive Committee.
