Danica Patrick waits impatiently at a red light while going undercover as a Lyft driver

Recently, NASCAR star Danica Patrick traded in her No. 10 Chevrolet SS racecar for a more unassuming 2016 Chevy Malibu. Not for one of her races, of course, but in order to go undercover as a Lyft driver in the city of Charlotte, North Carolina.

Take a look:

Somehow, no one in the NASCAR capital of the world recognizes one of the sport’s biggest stars—sort of like how no one in Chicago recognized Cubs Rookie of the Year Kris Bryant when he went undercover as a Lyft driver.

But Danica appeared to be having a lot of fun with it, telling unsuspecting passengers about her need for speed and her unabashed love for making left turns.

As for the Malibu, Patrick seems to miss being behind the wheel of her normal vehicle. She seems annoyed by the car’s safety features, like Forward Collision Alert, which warns drivers when they are getting too close to the car in front of them—something that Danica says is “encouraged” in her other line of work.

She does manage to rev the Malibu’s engine a little, and apparently, even gets a little wheel spin when beating another car off the line (not that the other driver knew it was a race, mind you).

At the end of each Lyft ride, Danica reveals her true identity, at which point the inevitable taking of selfies begins. Hey, just because you can’t recognize a celebrity when she’s sitting right next to you, doesn’t mean you shouldn’t take a picture with her to set as your new Facebook profile!
