De Nysschen Announces Cadillac ATS-V Price
Shortly after the new 2016 ATS-V Coupe and Sedan models were unveiled at the Los Angeles Auto Show, Cadillac President, Johan de Nysschen, sat down with USA Today to discuss the direction that the company is headed. Among the discussion: the 2016 Cadillac ATS-V price.
De Nysschen reported that pricing for the ATS-V would start at $63,000. That might sound steep, but it is actually tucked neatly between the price of the BMW M4 ($64,200) and the four-door M3 ($62,000). That’s no accident, as de Nysschen announced just a couple months ago that he will keep prices competitive with the German automakers, whose ranks Cadillac intends to join.
The real question will be how much all the goodies and add-ons cost. For example, adding on things like carbon ceramic brakes, a dual-clutch transmission, and more can bring the cost of BMW’s performance compact luxury models up to around $85,000. De Nysschen did not give details on how high the 2016 Cadillac ATS-V price could potentially climb.
The 2016 Cadillac ATS-V marks the first time that a Cadillac Twin Turbo engine has been built into a V-Series model. Check out more ATS-V engine performance stats here.
