Hyundai’s Grammy Amplifier Entertains and Connects
While discovering new music is definitely a perk, the biggest benefit of Hyundai’s Grammy Amplifier is the opportunity it will give the three talented winners. The following video explains how the competition works:
Users can submit their tracks to Hyundai’s Grammy Amplifier and create unique social media links to promote their work. After the submission phase has closed, 25 top finalists will be selected by curators The Band Perry, Ziggy Marley, and Allen Stone.
After whittling the submissions down to the most promising acts, this year’s ambassador, Mark Ronson (of the hit groove “Uptown Funk”), will select three finalists, who will get to choose from a studio recording session, music video production, or opening spot on a major tour.
Last year’s musical ambassador, David Guetta, chose three promising finalists who have been busy producing tracks and plugging into music industry: Bonavox, Eyango and Jessica Faith.
“We couldn’t be more excited to continue our dedication not only to the Grammys but to the celebration and support of making music,” said David Matathia, director of marketing & communications at Hyundai Motor America. “The Amplifier program and our partnership with the Grammys allow Hyundai to celebrate innovation and creativity through a truly unique and inspiring platform.”
This is the third year Hyundai and the Recording Academy have partnered to connect with aspiring musical talents, and continues Hyundai‘s legacy as the official vehicle partner of the Grammy Awards.
