Two FCA vehicles won 2015 MotorWeek Drivers’ Choice Awards

This week is a big one for Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA). Yesterday, the automaker announced that its 2015 Ram 1500 had been named Best Full-Size Truck for the Money, and, today, it will unveil a special edition 1500 at the Chicago Auto Show (you can livestream coverage here). And now, FCA can add one more—well, two more—victories to its big week: the Dodge Charger and the Alfa Romeo 4C won 2015 MotorWeek Drivers’ Choice Awards from TV’s first automotive magazine. Specifically, the Charger won the “Best Sports Sedan” distinction while the 4C nabbed the “Best Performance Car” title.

“No matter if it’s on the street or the track, the new 2015 Dodge Charger is one of the best balanced four-doors we’ve ever driven,” said John Davis, who is the host of MotorWeek. “Plus, with constant improvement in all areas, not to mention the recent addition of the awesome 707-horsepower Charger SRT Hellcat model, it’s clear that there’s nothing retro about this new Dodge except its spirit of American-bred high performance.”

Davis added, “The 2015 Alfa Romeo 4C delivers the exhilaration of a mega-buck Italian exotic sports car for a fraction of the price. It’s truly a unique experience, and one that appeals to all the senses. The 4C is a car designed with one thing in mind, driving!”

The Dodge Charger has always been a fan favorite, as America’s only four-door fastback-styled muscle car, but ever since the Charger SRT Hellcat was unveiled last year, it’s constantly been making headlines alongside its Challenger brother. Meanwhile, the 4C marks Alfa Romeo’s welcome return to the United States and boasts a zero-to-60 time of just 4.1 seconds.
