Dodge Gives Away Hellcat Engine at Roadkill Nights Drag Event
What do you get when two of the best car shows in the industry decide to go head-to-head in a drag race? Roadkill Nights powered by Dodge.
Roadkill, one of the most popular car shows in the industry, recently challenged the techs from Gas Monkey Garage, the garage featured in Discovery’s Fast N’ Loud, to a drag race, resulting in Roadkill Nights powered by Dodge. While this fun-filled event means plenty of high-tuned power, it also meant something else for thousands of fans—the chance to win a 6.2-liter Hellcat engine.

Dodge held a racing contest during the event, eventually awarding the Hellcat engine to Michigan resident Brandon Phillips. Racing in his 1969 Dodge Super Bee, Phillips took on a powerful truck in the final race of the contest, coming out ahead with ease and earning the engine. There’s no doubt that a Dodge fan as devoted as Phillips will know exactly what to do with the 707-horsepower machine.
After Dodge presented Phillips with the kickass Hellcat engine, Roadkill and Gas Monkey Garage geared up for the main reason for Roadkill Nights—their drag race. Since we don’t want to spoil the race for you, you’ll have to check out the race below.
