Dodge Sponsoring Roadkill Nights at Michigan’s Silverdome
Dodge is taking over the Silverdome—its parking lot, that is. The American carmaker is sponsoring Roadkill Nights “Powered by Dodge,” a free, pop-up festival that allows racing enthusiasts to race each other in their own cars. This festival will come just before the 2015 Woodward Dream Cruise, making it a terrific start to a fun weekend.

Set to start on Wednesday, August 12th, from 4pm to 10pm (Eastern), the drag race will have a long list of activities for you to enjoy. These include live music, food trucks, free t-shirts, and Dodge Thrill Rides with a pro-driver. There will even be a Show & Shine display for car lovers to show off their own vehicles.
David Freiburger, the host of ROADKILL, which is the most-viewed YouTube automotive original series in the world, will be leading the races, while his crew members help out. The schedule of events is as follows:
- 12-3pm: Vehicle inspections for drag participants
- 2-4pm: Show & Shine vehicles placement*
- 4pm: Event opens including Food Truck area and Show & Shine display
- 5-9pm: Drag races begin, with a new race starting every minute
- 5pm: ROCKSTAR band takes stage
- 7pm: Encore ROCKSTAR band performance
