The Mercury Recording artist and RAM partner got up on the big stage to get the fair’s party started a bit early. He was joined by Loren Ellis in his performance.

Corbin’s chart-topping song, “Let’s Ride” is actually inspired by RAM Trucks. It’s currently featured in a RAM television campaign, making it the perfect song to kick off the State Fair of Texas—especially since the RAM brand is so beloved in the Lone Star State.

Along with Corbin’s surprise appearance, RAM also used Thursday as the opportunity to debut the 2016 RAM 1500 Rebel. Considered the truck brand’s most intimidating model yet, the Rebel pickup truck flexed its muscles alongside pickup trucks from various other brands, including Ford, Toyota, Nissan, and GMC. The RAM 1500 Rebel features a fuel-sipping 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine and a spacious interior.
