Entire 2016 Subaru Lineup Gets 3 Years of SiriusXM Traffic, Travel Link, and More
Subaru has just implemented something really cool on its entire lineup, including the 2016 Forester, 2016 Outback, and more. All models equipped with the navigation package will now receive a three-year subscription to SiriusXM Traffic® and SiriusXM Travel Link®, and three years of free navigation software updates via HERE.
Unfortunately, models that are sold with factory-equipped satellite radio will instead continue to receive a 4-month audio subscription to SiriusXM’s All Access Package. That might just be enough of a reason for customers to opt to spend extra on the navigation package.
SiriusXM Traffic is a great resource for drivers. Drivers can get real time info on things like accidents, traffic, speed flow, and more. Meanwhile, Travel Link offers helpful hints such as nearby fuel prices, weather updates, stock information, game scores, and more.
The partnership with HERE is also important. HERE will ensure accurate map data downloaded straight onto the navigation system in the new Subaru.
All 2016 Subaru models are available at dealerships nationwide. Any purchased this month will ensure a $250 donation to a national or local charity, via Subaru’s Share the Love event.
