Evo Mag Gets Exclusive Behind-the-Scenes Look at New Focus RS
Chances are pretty good that, if you’re reading this, it’s because you were blown away by this morning’s reveal of the bah-gawd Ford Focus RS. Even if you were blown away (and you have every right to be, because it’s amazing), you’re probably nowhere near as stoked as Henry Catchpole of Evo magazine, who got a behind-the-scenes look at Ford’s latest monster performer before the unveiling.
The elation on this man’s face at the beginning of the video really says it all.
The conversation that Catchpole has with exterior designer Ernesto Rupar is worth listening to, if not just for the dulcet tones of both men’s silky voices, but because there’s a great bit of detail revealed about its looks. The real treat, of course, are the long lingering shots over the Focus RS’ interior and exterior.
As a bonus, Catchpole and his crew stuck around long enough that they were privy to the engine being started and just a bit of the exhaust note. It sounds every bit as lovely as it did this morning. The only way it could possibly sound better? In person.
