The CTS-V Coupe as we know it is almost gone. After the 2015 model, we’ll be facing a new generation of CTS-V for the very first time. While GM has likely been using most of its resources to beef up the next-gen model, the engineers still did quality work on the 2015 CTS-V. Don’t believe us? Updates for the 2015 Cadillac CTS-V Coupe

Cadillac is doing away with some pretty cool features, like the Yellow Brembo brake calipers, front bucket seats, and the 19-inch premium multi-coat painted wheels. Cadillac is also ridding of six exterior colors—Black Raven, Majestic Plum Metallic, Opulent Blue Metallic, Radiant Silver Metallic, Red Obsession Metallic, and White Diamond Tricoat—and three interior colors—Ebony with Saffron, Light Titanium, and Twilight Blue. However, the 2015 CTS-V will pick up three new colors—Black Diamond Tricoat (a carryover color at an extra charge), Crystal White Tricoat (at an extra charge), and Phantom Gray Metallic (a carryover color).

You might be thinking that this all sounds like bad news. Don’t worry; Cadillac’s thought this through. For the final model in the first generation, Cadillac will be offering a Special Build Out Edition, which includes everything you could ever want from your CTS-V Coupe. Check it out:

  • Black chrome finish grille
  • Ebony leather seating surfaces with sueded fabric inserts and red stitching
  • Heated/ventilated front seats
  • Midnight Sapele Wood Trim Package
  • Recaro seats
  • Red Brembo calipers
  • Satin Graphite wheels with optional polished wheels
  • Sport pedals
  • Sueded steering wheel and shifter

Only 500 examples will be produced.
