Face to Face with the 2018 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport Coupe
The 2018 Dayton Auto Show might be over, however, the vehicles witnessed from attending the event still linger in my mind. The main car still haunting my vehicular daydreams (or is it cardreams?…) is definitely the 2018 Chevy Corvette Grand Sport Coupe.
Few things are as American as a ‘vette. The sleek, aerodynamic body with a characteristically elongated profile in an array of classic colors including white, black, and red.
The one displayed at the Dayton Auto Show this year was a real heart-stopper. From the Torch Red hue to each contour of its body and lush detail of its sporty interior, the vehicle definitely drew a lot of attention from passersby.

Note the short cabin space that can comfortably accommodate anyone 5-feet 4-inches tall or shorter, as I can personally testify. There are few vehicles which petite drivers can say are the “perfect” height for them, never mind ones that are also ridiculously stylish and alluring. But this one definitely fit the bill.
From the front grille to the back bumper, the 2018 Corvette Grand Sport Coupe lit up the room with its fiery shade of red contrasted by black details both inside and out.
I mean just look at the tail end of it. Definitely a sports car worthy of any movie heroine’s dramatic escape scene, or a celebrity-level weekend getaway meandering the ocean-facing roads of the California coast.
If you have more than $73k to spare, don’t hesitate in purchasing this superbly sporty ride. If you lack that substantial sum, however, you can still take pleasure in mentally driving this vehicle to whatever destination your imagination prefers to visit.
