Farm Kings Adds 2015 Transit to Cast
It seems that the 2015 Ford Transit is quickly becoming a go-to reality series superstar: after debuting on the April 30 episode of American Pickers as the new ride of choice for Mike and Frank, the Transit premiered on the August 15 episode of Great American Country Network’s Farm Kings.

The series, which follows the King farming family, will depict the Transit doing what it does best: working. The 2015 Transit will be used as the primary means of transport to-and-from the family’s 200-acre Freedom Farms in Butler, Pennsylvania.
“The partnership with Ford and Great American Country’s ‘Farm Kings’ created the perfect environment to showcase all of the new Transit’s capabilities, and our new lifestyle series delivers highly engaged consumers,” said Bob Calandruccio, vice president of sales for Great American Country. “We look forward to building more partnerships with top advertisers like Ford.”
Ford notes that the model seen on Farm Kings is a medium-roof, long-wheelbase Transit 250 in Ingot Silver. Beneath the hood is the 3.2-liter Power Stroke® five-cylinder turbo-diesel, and on the inside, you’ll find 357.1 cu-ft of cargo space, a maximum 72” interior height, and a custom shelving unit.
The show will also feature a 2014 Ford F-150, also driven by the Kings for tasks in and around Freedom Farms.
