The ad campaign, which will include commercials for five of FCA's automotive brands, will feature acts ranging from OneRepublic to Alice Cooper

Summer is often considered to be the most popular time of the year for new song and album releases. This phenomenon spans numerous genres of music, everything from country to rock ’n’ roll.

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles has decided to celebrate the summer music season and its partnership with Apple through its latest advertising campaign.

FCA first launched the campaign online on June 27. On July 2, it officially migrated to television.

The primary focus of these advertisements is the Apple experience that FCA is bringing to its vehicles. This offer includes up to six months of free Apple Music with the purchase of any new Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, or Fiat vehicle equipped with CarPlay Support.

“This collaboration inspired us to leverage the strength and identity of each of our individual brands,” explains Olivier Francois, Chief Marketing Officer for FCA. “Additionally, as the only automaker to now offer branded playlists on Apple Music, this allows us to provide increased relevance to targeted audiences.”

The aforementioned advertising campaign features five of FCA’s brands and 10 musical acts across a number of different commercials. Each automotive brand has been paired with a different genre of music.

For example, Jeep’s advertisements feature the band OneRepublic. The commercials include the latest single from OneRepublic, “Connection.”

Ram unsurprisingly featured country music in its summer advertisements. Ram’s commercial includes the single “While You Still Can” from the Grammy-nominated Brothers Osborne.

Dodge’s set of advertisements star rock legend Alice Cooper and feature his song “Under My Wheels.” One such commercial follows the efforts of Cooper’s personal assistant to deck out his backstage room all in black, only for the rock star to be somewhat perplexed by the room’s monochromatic color scheme.

That commercial can be viewed below:

Chrysler’s advertisement is a part of their larger campaign starring Kathryn Hahn, best known for her work in shows like Crossing Jordan and movies like Bad Moms. In the spot, Hahn and her crew try to depart for a night out on the town in her Chrysler Pacifica, only for “emergencies” involving their children to arise.

The final FCA advertisement for the Fiat brand may be the most unusual of them all. Featuring the track “Liberated” by DeJ Loaf & Leon Bridges, it focuses on a person’s pair of dancing fingers that are wearing a fashionable set of sneakers.

As the summer rolls along, more of these FCA advertisements are likely to be released. Therefore, make sure to keep an eye out, as well as an ear out, for these commercials during the next few months.
