Only one of 2017 Fiat 500 models was able to impress the editors of U.S. News & World Report in terms of speed, and that’s okay, because the 2017 Fiat 500 Abarth is quite the showstopper.

Earning its spot on the publication’s 2018 List of Fastest Cars for the Money, the 2017 Fiat 500 Abarth was praised for its “excellent performance, a rockin’ exhaust note, and a suspension setup that makes it a blast to toss around corners,” according to John M. Vincent.

Another attention-getting feature in the Fiat 500 is its standard Uconnect infotainment system, which is beautifully displayed on a 5-inch screen. Vincent calls the Fiat 500’s system, “one of the most intuitive systems available in the class.”

The standard Uconnect infotainment system is equipped with Bluetooth® Streaming Audio, Voice Command, a media hub with USB port, an auxiliary input jack, and Hands-Free Calling capability.

The 2017 Fiat 500 Abarth model is equipped with a 160-horsepower and 170 lb-ft of torque generating 1.4-liter I4 MultiAir® 16-valve turbocharged engine. You can choose between a six-speed automatic or five-speed manual transmission.

The exterior styling of the 2017 Fiat 500 Abarth includes a performance spoiler, matte-finish door appliqués, side sill ground effects, 16-inch aluminum wheels, and body-color power heated mirrors.

The Abarth model earns an EPA-estimated fuel efficiency rating of 28 mpg in the city and 33 mpg on the highway.*
