Fiat Chrysler Set to Show off New Minivan at 2016 NAIAS
The North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit is like the automotive industry’s Christmas. Every year, NAIAS is the stage for some of the biggest reveals in automobiles and this year is no different. The reveal I’m the most excited for, though, is Chrysler’s newest minivan.
Yes, you read that right. I’m excited for a freakin’ minivan.
But let me tell you why. Fiat Chrysler’s newest model is the 2017 Town & Country. And, while the teaser video the brand just released (which you can see below) isn’t exactly telling us anything besides the product’s name, we can only guess that the big reveal is going to be the plug-in electric version Chrysler confirmed last year.
I’m not a soccer mom, but even I can see how great it would be to have an electric car with enough seating for eight.

Chrysler will unveil its newest minivan, which is called the 880 according to the teaser video, on Monday, January 11th at 7:30am ET. The American carmaker is live streaming it for those peons (like me) that don’t get to be there for the actual reveal. Until then, we’re sure Chrysler will continue to post some incredibly vague and blurry teaser images on Twitter, like it started doing yesterday.
