First Look At The 2015 Honda CR-V
Today Honda unveiled the first official image of the upcoming 2015 Honda CR-V. Now in its fourth generation and 17th year of existence, Honda’s enduring compact crossover will be getting yet another refresh for the 2015 model year.
Compared to the current 2014 model, this edition has a grille that’s not quite so busy, having been downsized from three bars to two. The headlights have also been revised, and along with the reshaped front bumper and new fog lamps, the redesigned 2015 Honda CR-V has a slimmer and slicker (and maybe a tad fiercer) look to it.
Honda’s official press release states that, “A new aggressive and bold appearance with unique Honda style portends the significant enhancements made to the 2015 CR-V.”
As for what those other “significant enhancements” actually are, well, we’ll just have to wait to find out. There are no photos from Honda yet that reveal what the view is like from behind, from the side, or from inside, nor do we have any official specs to report. However, the automaker has promised that “complete information on the newest version of the best-selling SUV in America will be available September 30,” in advance of its October 1 sale date, so stay tuned for more updates.
