When you think of celebrities who truly love cars, it’s likely that your mind jumps straight to those stars like Jay Leno and Jerry Seinfeld, who both love cars so much they have their own respective shows. But what about the big names that keep their love of cars on the down low? The entertainment industry is fraught with car lovers that just happened to be in the spotlight. From an iconic WWE super star to the Vice President, the list of celebrity gear heads is endless. Here are five celebrity car enthusiasts you probably wouldn’t think of right away.

Joe Biden

A lot of people think it’s a joke that Joe Biden loves cars— an idea a recent article from the parody newspaper The Onion didn’t help with. But trust us, we’re not kidding when we say the Vice President truly loves automobiles. It’s even one of the reasons he’s not running for President this year.

“Everyone wants to know whether or not I’m going to run for president,” Biden said at a United Auto Workers union conference earlier this year. “There’s a lot of reasons to run for president, but there’s one overwhelming reason not to run for president. I’d like to get that Z06 with 0-60 in 3.4 seconds.”

If that’s not proof of his car love, then we don’t know what is. Biden’s currently the proud owner of a restored 1967 Corvette—and he even told Yale graduates last year that “Corvettes are better than Porsches.”

Rowan AtkinsonRowan Atkinson

Rowan Atkinson might come across as an oblivious funny man as the iconic Mr. Bean, but when it comes to cars, he’s anything but. The British actor is the type of car lover we all hope to become one day. He doesn’t just sit around lazily collected vehicles of all kinds—he drives them regularly and races them, too. Twice, he drove and wrecked a McLaren F1 and has written for several car magazines. There’s definitely nothing funny about Atkinson’s love of cars.

Jeff DunhamJeff Dunham

Ventriloquists aren’t typically the type of people to make others green with envy. That is, unless you’re a car lover and the ventriloquist is Jeff Dunham. This famous comedian has such an extensive car collection, it might make you want to stick your hand up a puppet, too. He actually needs an entire warehouse to store them. Dunham’s got everything from a Hummer to a Morgan—and he even got his hands on the Batmobile from Tim Burton’s Batman Returns.

John Cena

There are few celebrities in the world whose resume is as well-rounded as John Cena’s. The News Wheel’s favorite pro-wrestler is also known for his various roles in movies, business endeavors, and his very own rap album. So, it’s quite easy to see how Cena can add “car enthusiast” to this list. A 1969 COPO Camaro and 1970 Pontiac GTO Judge are just a couple of the drool-worthy names in Cena’s collection. But these cars don’t just sit around—he also drives them frequently, which made easy for people to believe he possibly died when Cena became part of a celebrity death hoax this time last year. John Cena is not dead, people.

David LettermanDavid Letterman

When you think “David Letterman,” you likely think of the longest-serving late night talk show host in history. Letterman is basically synonymous with late night television—but he’s also one of the most active celebrities in the automotive world. He’s got a massive car collection, including 10 Ferraris—and that’s not all. Letterman is even the part owner of Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing because he loves racing and IndyCar that much.
