National Junk Food Day is July 21st! It’s one of the many days a year where you’re given a pass to eat the food you crave but normally pass on because it’s unhealthy.

Check out these great car-themed snacks that are sure to be a hit on your next road trip, and we hope they help keep your car happy!

Check out these tiny Teddy Grahams driving their own little cars! They’re perfect for right when the road trip begins and everyone is still happy to be cruising the highway. These treats require some assembly, but only four ingredients: Tiny Teddies, Smarties, fun-sized Milky Way bars, and melted chocolate. Bargain Mums from Australia has the instructions for these cute little delights.

If you want to add some fruit to National Junk Food Day or your road trip, check out these stoplights! Another treat with simple ingredients, you can choose any fruit of the appropriate colors to make your stoplight on top of a graham cracker and cream cheese.

Chocolate Whitewall Tires

This snack comes from the minds at Disney Baby, and is inspired by the Disney/Pixar Cars franchise. The recipe also teaches you how to bake your own donuts instead of buying them from the store. It would be fairly simple to attach the white walls to pre-made donuts, if you are looking for a simpler snack. Let’s be honest though: National Junk Food Day is the best for donut lovers. You can eat them with or without the decoration!

Mint Oreo Balls

Okay, okay. Mint Oreo Balls aren’t really car themed, but they take crumbly cookies and turn them into a tasty and compact snack. The chocolate shell around them also helps hold in the crumbs and keep them off of your upholstery. If you have a passenger who is not a fan of mint, you can swap out mint cookies for the flavor of your choice.

S’mores Pops/Airbags

These s’mores pops are very appropriate if you’re driving to the woods for a camping trip! Even if you’re driving to a hotel, these snacks are great since they come on a stick, keeping little fingers clean. Several users on Pinterest have also called these “airbags” at car-themed parties, and the resemblance is easy to see if you leave some of the marshmallow exposed.

What snacks do you crave while you’re on a road trip? Don’t forget to pack some fruits and veggies to go with the sweet stuff when you hit the road!
