Mitsubishi LogoProducts are not the only important part of creating a top-quality company. Employees and their job satisfaction are a big part of what makes a company great. In the spirit of great companies, Forbes recently named Mitsubishi as one of the Best Employers of 2018.

Forbes uses poll information gathered from 30,000 employees to compile its Best Employers list. Mitsubishi was ranked #11 in the automotive category and #291 overall. This list is produced annually in collaboration with Statista, an online research firm.

“Mitsubishi prides itself on the passionate and dedicated employees who are the driving force behind our brand’s momentum,” said Fred Diaz, Mitsubishi Motors North America’s president and chief executive officer. “Being recognized by Forbes is a great honor and validation to our commitment to provide a working environment that is supportive, diverse and dynamic.”

Companies were nominated for Forbes’ consideration by employees and industry employers. Each employee polled filled out an online survey with questions about day-to-day work life, their salary, room for growth within the company, and the company’s overall reputation.

Mitsubishi has two new vehicles on the market: the 2018 Outlander PHEV and the 2018 Eclipse Cross. The Eclipse Cross is an all-new CUV model with sophistication and style making its way into the showroom. The Outlander PHEV is an eco-friendly option that rolled out at the end of last year.

Mitsubishi has seen a pattern of growth over the last few months, including record sales throughout the beginning of 2018. And this isn’t the first accolade Mitsubishi has received this year. Mitsubishi took home two GOOD DESIGN awards earlier this week, and in January, Mitsubishi earned the title of the fastest growing non-luxury brand for 2017.
