The 2014 SEMA Show is coming up, and Ford is looking to capitalize on the anticipation swirling around one of the year’s most hotly-anticipated models: the 2015 Ford F-150. Ford will be bringing its A-game to Las Vegas this year in order to win the 2014 Hottest Truck Award for the fifth consecutive year.

In order to repeat as the SEMA Hottest Truck Award-winner this year, Ford is showing off two positively hot-looking F-150s.

Deegan 38

SEMA Hottest Truck Award

The Deegan 38 takes the F-150 with a 3.5-liter twin-turbo EcoBoost® engine and adds equipment from the following aftermarket equipment providers: Addictive Desert Designs, Mickey Thompson Performance Tires & Wheels, FOX Racing Shox, KC Hilites, Mastercraft Safety, Rockford Fosgate, Full-Race Motorsports, Leading Edge Tuning, ProEFI, and SCT Performance.

The Deegan 38 is being overseen by motocross legend/Metal Mulisha founder/Ford Racing’s own Brian Deegan.

“This F-150 should inspire the vast off-road, extreme-lifestyle-loving fan base to push the possibilities of the kick-ass new 2015 F-150 and the awesome 3.5-liter EcoBoost engine,” said Deegan.

Vaughn Gittin Jr. Street Truck

SEMA Hottest Truck Award

This F-150 is all about performance. With a 12” Kibbetech custom suspension and Air Lift Performance air ride on the outside and Recaro racing seats on the inside, this take on the world’s favorite pickup truck is made to emphasize the light-weighting techniques that will make the 2015 F-150 the lightest and most efficient pickup truck on the road.

The Vaughn Gittin Jr. Street Truck is being overseen by…surprise…Formula DRIFT’s Vaughn Gittin Jr.

“I love trucks, and to build one that has daily on- and off-road capabilities, as well as drifting and jumping capabilities is something I have always wanted to do,” said Gittin. “I am really pumped to get crazy in this F-150 at SEMA this year.”

The 2014 SEMA Show runs from November 4-7 in Las Vegas. Stay tuned to find out if these two spectacular trucks are able to make it five for Ford.
