Ford will be using the platform that is the 2016 North American International Auto Show to reveal a new electrified vehicle (possibly the new Fusion Energi), hopefully with the same degree of effect with which it debuted the new Shelby GT350R Mustang, F-150 Raptor, and GT supercar last year.

To celebrate the one-year anniversary of the new 2017 Ford GT gracing the stage in Detroit, Ford will be giving away Ford GT model snap kits built by Revell. Last year, Revell introduced a similar snap kit based on the F-150 Raptor that was distributed to attendees of the Detroit Auto Show, and in 2014, it built a snap kit model built on the new Mustang.

“Our annual Revell Make ‘n Take model kit program has become a fun-filled auto show tradition,” said Mark Bentley, Ford Licensing manager. “Letting kids build their own Ford GT is a great way to introduce them to the Ford brand and create new enthusiasts.”

The Ford GT snap kit will consist of 14 pieces that can be assembled in just a few minutes. A 28-piece retail version will be available for purchase in April at the price of $14.99.
