Ford announced today that it will be offering three years of complimentary public charging to its customers in California and Maryland who purchase or lease a new 2016 Ford C-MAX Energi. The free charging program, EV 1-2-3 Charge, is the result of a partnership with EVgo and will provide unlimited four-hour charging sessions at EVgo’s 500+ public charging stations across the country.

“EV 1-2-3 Charge is a great way for customers to get the most out of their C-MAX Energi,” said Stephanie Janczak, Ford manager, electrification and infrastructure. “We’re coupling a fun, versatile, environmentally conscious car with a complimentary charge program that is easy to use and can reduce cost of ownership. It’s a win-win.”

Ford also announced that MyFord Mobile will make tracking these stations down even easier by designating them with pink icons. MyFord Mobile is integrated to work with SYNC 3, which is the standard infotainment system of the 2016 C-MAX Energi.

The EV 1-2-3 Charge program is available to eligible customers in California and Maryland who purchase or lease a 2016 Ford C-MAX Energi between October 1st, 2015 and October 1st, 2016. More information is available at ev123Charge.com or myfordmobile.com.
