Ford Announces Pricing for the 2014 Taurus and Focus
The Ford brand has been rejuvenated in the last couple of years thanks to its new “One Ford” global campaign. Redesigned Ford vehicles are being driven on separate continents under the same names, with the same styling.
The recent boost in popularity has been attributed to the fresh styling, a slew of technology and bolstered powertrain options, but what it really comes down to for every car purchase is the price. So when Ford releases pricing, we are sure to pass it on.
Ford announced that its 2014 Taurus will receive a slight bump for the next model year. The top of the line Limited and SHO trims will see an increase of 2.58 percent, or around $900. The SE and SEL variants will not rise at all for 2014 – always welcome news.
The 2014 Ford Focus will receive an even smaller increase than the upper trims of the Taurus. Customers can expect to pay an average of only $165 more across the Focus lineup, with the Focus Electric’s pricing not budging for 2014.
