Ford Announces Trio of Senior Leadership Appointments
Ford Motor Company has announced three senior leadership appointments that went into effect on January 1st. Bradley Gayton has been named group vice president and general counsel; Marcy Klevorn has been named group vice president of Information Technology and chief information officer; and Kim Pittel has been named group vice president of Sustainability, Environment, and Safety Engineering.

“As we expand our business and invest in emerging business opportunities, there is an increasing need in the areas of information technology, sustainability, and safety, and governance to deliver our strategic priorities,” said Mark Fields, Ford president and CEO. “Bradley, Marcy, and Kim are strong leaders with the necessary expertise to drive Ford’s leadership in a rapidly changing global landscape.”
Bradley Gayton
Gayton, 53, previously served as vice president and general counsel from January 2016, at which time he was also elected a Ford Motor Company officer. As group vice president and general counsel, Gayton oversees the company’s litigation, tax, corporate, and intellectual property affairs; serves in the role of advisor to the board of directors and senior management with regards to legal matters; and oversees the General Auditors’ Office.
Marcy Klevorn
Klevorn, 57, previously served as vice president, Information Technology and CIO from January 2015, at which point she was also named an officer for Ford Motor Company. In her role, she oversees Ford’s global IT operations. Klevorn’s other previous roles include IT Director for Ford of Europe from 2011 to 2013.
Kim Pittel
Pittel, 57, served as the vice president, Sustainability, Environment, and Safety Engineering from January 2015, and has also served as an officer for Ford Motor Company since that appointment. In her role, she oversees development and implementation of environmental and safety strategy and policy, as well as the automaker’s Blueprint for Sustainability initiative.
