Ford Holiday Sales

Black Friday is known for its mayhem, hordes of shoppers, and great sales. Now that this memorable shopping day has passed, the holiday season has officially begun and Ford says they’re more prepared to handle the holiday auto shopping traffic with their online sales than ever before.

After seeing a 17 percent increase in online sales last Black Friday and launching a new digital promotions campaign that kicked off the week before the shopping gurus’ favorite holiday, Ford is expecting yet another holiday bump in online sales, potentially led by Ford F-150 pickup truck buyers.

“Ford embraced digital dealer opportunities early and today is uniquely positioned to turn online interest into a dealer visit—whether it’s to purchase a vehicle, or for service or maintenance,” said Ron Merbler, digital manager, Ford enterprise digital solutions. “Accessing content via mobile screens is key to how Americans buy vehicles now, and the Thanksgiving shopping weekend provides an opportunity for us to engage them while they’re already shopping.”

Through FordDirect services, which gives Ford dealers access to mobile and desktop website solutions, digital advertisements, and vehicle marketing services, along with social media management solutions, the online impact Ford has now is larger than ever before.
