Ford Commercial Vehicle Center Program

Ford on Wednesday announced the introduction of its Commercial Vehicle Center program, a move that the automaker hopes will embolden its fleet and customer base that has helped to make it the leading commercial vehicle provider for more than three decades. The Commercial Vehicle Center is the effective replacement of the Ford Business Preferred Network program.

“Nearly 30 years ago, Ford established its first program to improve the purchase experience for our commercial vehicle customers,” said John Ruppert, Ford general manager, commercial vehicle sales and marketing. “Now we are introducing the next chapter in our commercial vehicle story, not only by rebranding the program, but by further expanding a number of program elements to improve the overall customer experience.”

The Commercial Vehicle Center network will consist of more than 650 Ford dealers that will provide financing and support services in addition to fleet vehicles proper. As a condition of the program, Commercial Vehicle Center service departments will stay open 55 hours a week and employ new stocking methods to ensure that necessary parts are available at all times.

The Commercial Vehicle Center program will also introduce Ford’s Commercial Advantage Rewards loyalty program, which allows customers to earn benefits and redeem them at their CVC dealer. The rewards program also provides dealers the ability to offer custom awards at their discretion.

“Our goal is to make Ford Commercial Vehicle Center dealers the trusted choice for commercial customers by providing an easy, effortless customer experience through a comprehensive, industry-leading commercial dealer network program,” said Ruppert.
