Ford Launches Shelby GT350 and Shelby GT350R Mustang Configurator
Last month, a strange URL discovered by an Oppositelock reader led to what appeared to be a beta for a configuration site that revealed, among other things, the price of the upcoming Ford Shelby GT350 and Shelby GT350R.
This week, the real deal Holyfield went live, revealing that the prices of $47,795 for the Shelby GT350 and $61,295 for the Shelby GT350R were indeed accurate.
Using the proper configurator, you can sample the available exterior color options—including Race Red, Deep Impact Blue, Magnetic, Triple Yellow, Avalanche Gray, Oxford White, and Shadow Black—and color options for racing stripes—Blue with Red, White with Red, and Black with Red.
There’s an additional $3,000 Electronics Package that includes:
- Seven-Speaker Audio System
- AM/FM Stereo/Single-CD Player
- SiriusXM Satellite Radio with 6-month prepaid subscription
- SYNC® 3
- Dual-Zone Electronic Automatic Temperature Control
- Rear View Camera
- Turn Signal Mirrors
- Universal Garage Door Opener
- Voice-Activated Navigation System
- Auxiliary Gauges
- Floor Mats
- Tire Sealant and Inflator Kit
Apart from that, there isn’t much in the way of details pertaining to any additional accessory options, but that may well be revealed closer to the release date. Stay tuned.
