Ford Fiesta ST-Line and Focus ST-Line

Fans of Ford in Europe have yet another reason to get excited about the future, particularly if they’re crazy about the look of some of Ford’s most popular performance vehicles. Ford announced that both the Ford Fiesta ST-Line and Focus ST-Line are available for order now, and that two additional, as-yet-unnamed ST-Line models will be available by the end of the year.

The idea behind the ST-Line is to offer vehicles that are aesthetically influenced by the Fiesta ST and Focus ST but are not necessarily tuned for their high level performance. Both vehicles feature the honeycomb trapezoidal front grille, fog lamps with dark surrounds, deep side skirts, black beltline, unique wheels, sports seating with accent stitching, and ST-Line badging.

“With our new ST-Line range even more customers can experience sporty style and driving dynamics inspired by our most exciting Ford Performance line-up ever, that includes models such as the Focus RS, new Fiesta ST200, and Ford GT supercar” said Roelant de Waard, vice president, Marketing, Sales & Service, Ford of Europe. “This year we expect to sell 40,000 performance cars in Europe, a 50% increase compared with 2015, which in turn saw performance car sales rise by 61% compared with 2014.”

Both vehicles are offered with 125 PS version of the 1.0-liter EcoBoost. The Fiesta ST-Line is also offered with a 100 PS and 140 PS 1.0-liter EcoBoost and a 95 PS 1.5-liter TDCi diesel. The Focus ST-Line is available with a 150 PS and 182 PS 1.5-liter EcoBoost and a 120 PS or 150 PS TDCi diesel option.

“The new Fiesta ST-Line and Focus ST-Line will offer customers a chance to enjoy the famous fun-to-drive characteristics and great looks of Ford’s performance models in an exciting and affordable package with a broad range of petrol and diesel engines – and we will be introducing two further models later in the year,” de Waard said.
