Ford SEMA Trucks

Ford is a brand that seems to be concerned with the idea of not just living up to previous expectations, but blowing past them. At the 2015 SEMA Show, customized Ford vehicles nabbed three major awards, including the title of Hottest Sport-Compact for the Focus, Hottest Car honors for the Mustang, and the prize for Hottest Truck going to the F-150.

This year, Ford will no doubt look to repeat this three-peat with a new crush of hot trucks and performance cars. A few weeks out from the kick-off of SEMA 2016, Ford is previewing some of its offerings, all of which seem to suggest that Ford will repeat as the Hottest of SEMA.

To get you set for Sin City, let’s take a look at the Bojix Design F-150 XLT 4×4 SuperCrew.

Bojix Design F-150 XLT 4x4 SuperCrew

Built on a 2016 Ford F-150 XLT 4×4 SuperCrew—which may possibly be suggested by the name—this truck from Bojix Design is built to handle off-road situations and look suitably fierce while doing it.

The base truck is equipped with the previous-gen 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 and a six-speed electronic automatic transmission. This powertrain combination is boosted by a Full Race intake system, exhaust muffler, intercooler, and catch can, as well as twin EFR turbo upgrades from Borg Warner.

To ensure that this beast is capable of handling the rugged ground, it has been equipped with a front and rear Brembo GT brake system, Fox Racing coilover shocks, and G2 Axle and Gear rear axle cover and front and rear differential gears. For a ferocious stance, this F-150 gets a Ready Lift seven-inch lift kit to help it tower over the terrain. The package is completed with Grid Off-Road GF-2 Forged 22-inch x 12-inch wheels in a double dark tint that are wrapped in Nitto M/T tires.

Exterior-wise, the truck is painted in Nardo Grey with Bojix Orange “BORANGE” accents and punched up with Paramount Restyling front grille and fender flairs; Airdesign USA tailgate applique; Venom R front bumper, Honeybadger rear bumper, and cab light mounts all from Addictive Desert Designs; Ford Licensed Accessories including a Bedrug bed liner, Undercover tonneau cover, cab LED worklight, Dee Zee bed ramps, and PUTCO rocker panels with custom Bojix Paint; decked bed storage system with sliding drawers; Raptor Retrofit headlamp harnesses; AMP Research XL motorized steps; and Rigid Industries light bars and dual reverse lights.

The interior is done up in Katzkin Tuscany leather in Havana tone and features accessories including a wireless phone charging system, Loft lite LED lighting system, and 360-degree vision system from Brandmotion Accessories; PUTCO stainless sill plates, INVISION dual headrest DVDs and monitors, Console Vault vehicle safe, and Lumen tablet headrest cradles from Ford Licensed Accessories; and a Kicker audio Powerstage system.
