Ford Vehicles Are the Most Awarded on Best Cars for the Money List
As the results of the recently-released U.S. News & World Report’s 2014 Best Cars for the Money list show, no brand gives drivers more bang for their buck than Ford. In fact, Ford vehicles are the most awarded on the list, taking home “Best” titles in the categories of two-row midsize SUV, hybrid car, hatchback, and subcompact.
What makes Ford’s success on the U.S. News & World Report’s 2014 Best Cars for the Money list all the more impressive is that two of the victories can be attributed to one car—the Ford Fiesta. The hot hatch took home both the Best Subcompact Car for the Money and Best Hatchback for the Money honors, adding to a trophy shelf already populated by honors from MotorWeek, Autobytel, and Hagerty.
Equally as impressive is the fact that both the winners of the Best 2-Row Midsize SUV for the Money and Best Hybrid Car for the Money awards, the Ford Edge and Fusion Hybrid respectively, have won the award two times in a row.
The Fiesta, Edge, and Fusion Hybrid are among the 225 vehicles considered over 21 categories, and the fact that Ford vehicles are the most awarded on U.S. News & World Reports’ 2014 Best Cars for the Money list is indicative of the automaker’s commitment to manufacturing vehicles that Americans love to drive and can easily afford.
