Awards season continues to be kind to Honda. The Japanese automaker managed four spots on the Kelley Blue Book list of “Best Family Cars of 2017.” The experts at KBB.com found spots on their annual list for the 2017 Honda CR-V, HR-V, Pilot, and Odyssey.

In making the selections of best family vehicles, Kelley Blue Book editors focused on the key areas of safety, value, reputation, driving manners, comfort and convenience, cargo versatility, technology, and fit of various rear-facing and forward-facing child safety car seats.

The CR-V and HR-V both landed in the “Best 2-Row SUVs for Families” category, which was rounded out by the 2017 Subaru Outback and Kia Sportage. The totally redesigned CR-V was recognized as being the best-selling SUV in the country, while the HR-V was praised as the most affordable entry on the list.

The 2017 Honda Pilot, meanwhile, joined the Toyota Highlander, Nissan Pathfinder, and Chevy Tahoe in the “Best 3-Row SUVs for Families” category. The Pilot, which was also KBB.com’s Midsize SUV Best Buy of 2017, was praised for its “minivan-like” family-friendly features.
