Four New Cadillac Models Coming in 2015
Cadillac dropped a lot of big news yesterday, like that we’ll be getting a Cadillac CT6 plug-in hybrid variant. The luxury automaker also announced that we’ll be getting four new Cadillac models in North America next year.
The Cadillac CT6 is one among four new Cadillac models coming next year, and will be based on the Elmiraj concept shown here.
Obviously, the first is the Cadillac CT6, the Omega flagship that we’ve been talking about for months now (although previously under the LTS name). The other three aren’t as clear; however, we have some ideas.

One of the three is likely to be the 2016 Cadillac CTS-V, which will be unveiled in Detroit at the North American International Auto Show in January and has been spotted testing at Nürburgring. In fact, it was spotted testing alongside another likely candidate, the 2016 ATS-V Sedan, which is coming even sooner to the auto show circuit, at Los Angeles next month. Its coupe variant, however, won’t be shown until later, so it is unlikely that the 2016 ATS-V Coupe will fill the fourth position.
So what else then? Well, we’ve heard a fair amount of rumors that the Cadillac SRX is going to be redesigned and introduced late next year. However, its reveal might not come soon enough for it to come to market in 2015, so what else could possibly fill the fourth position? It could possibly be a Lambda-based crossover positioned between the Escalade and SRX, or even a sub-SRX crossover. The new boys in suits at Cadillac—Johan de Nysschen and Uwe Ellinghaus—have admitted interest in both gaping holes in the Cadillac lineup.

Hopefully, the brand will be releasing clearer statements on the four new Cadillac models in the coming future, but don’t hold your breath just yet.
