The eighth installment of Honda’s 12-part What Makes a Honda is Who Makes a Honda video series, “Freddie’s Story,” was recently released by the Japanese automaker. The two-minute video highlights Freddie Wynn, a senior production manager at Honda Power Equipment Manufacturing in North Carolina, who climbed his way up to that position after being one of the first 50 employees hired at the plant in 1985. You can watch him talk about his experiences working for the popular car company in the two-minute video below:

The What Makes a Honda is Who Makes a Honda video series showcases Honda employees who are not only a credit to their company, but also their community, as well. Wynn, who is a sergeant at arms for his local Civitan Club, is no exception. According to Honda, “For the annual Haunted Forest, the Civitan Club’s largest fundraiser, Wynn builds the ‘haunts’ and operates the spooky sound system.  Money raised from the Haunted Forest benefits the local community as well as the Civitan International Research Center at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, which provides resources for children with developmental disabilities.”

“Honda gives back and allows all of its associates to serve in the community,” Wynn said.
