Gaby-Luise Wuest Named Infiniti VP of Global Operations
Effective September 1, Gaby-Luise Wuest will become the new Vice President of Global Operations for Infiniti. Wuest takes over the roll for Francois Goupil de Bouille, who has been appointed to the role of Infiniti Vice President, Europe, Middle East, and Africa.
Gaby-Luise Wuest will be responsible for Infiniti sales and aftersales, fleet sales, retail network development, and sales and product training, as well as for Infiniti’s Asia/Oceania markets (excluding China). Her office will be located in Hong Kong at the company’s global headquarters, where she will report directly to Infinity President Johan de Nysschen.
“Gaby Wuest is a highly-experienced and talented business executive with experience in both headquarters and local operational roles,” said de Nysschen in a statement. “As we transform our organization and continue to implement every step of our growth strategy, her background with premium automotive brands will be an important asset for Infiniti. She will bring additional perspective and experience, and further strengthen our leadership team as well as the brand overall.”
Wuest’s career in automotive began 20 years ago in BMW’s executive program for international trainees. She held a number of roles at BMW, including positions in Marketing, Public Relations, and Sales, before becoming the General Manager at BMW Group China Import office in 2007. In 2010, she was named Regional Head, BMW Group China and Coordination Joint Venture, BMW Brilliance Automotive. In 2012, she was put in charge of MINI Asia-Pacific and South Africa.
