Geiger’s 2016 Dodge Viper GTS 710R turns up the power

If you like power, sometimes 643 horsepower just isn’t enough—so why not shoot for an even 700?

That’s exactly what Geiger, a German tuning company, has done with the lean, mean machine that is the 2016 Dodge Viper. Geiger has upgraded the potent Viper powertrain, which consists of an 8.4-liter V10 that churns out 643 horsepower, to make it even more powerful than before. Even better? The tuning company has also added a body kit to give the Viper some subtle changes that truly complement its power boost.

To increase the Viper’s horsepower from 643 to 700, Geiger mated the V10 engine with a special air-box and a new exhaust system that has manifolds and sport catalysts. The company also added a new, optimized ECU software, which easily brings the engine up to 700 hp (710 ps) and 635 lb-ft of torque (861 Nm), giving it the name Viper GTS 710R.

With this tune up, the Viper is capable of catapulting itself from 0 to 62 mph in 2.9 seconds, accelerating all the way to 212 mph. If that isn’t power, we don’t know what is.

Geiger has also made sure drivers can stay in control at these top speeds, giving the Viper an LW coil-over suspension with adjustable rebound damping, which helps reduce the roll and offers a lower center of gravity.

You can easily get this tuned up, powerful Viper for only $24,130.
