General Motors Brings Shop Click Drive Online Shopping Service to UAE
Research has shown that around 91% of new vehicle shoppers in the United Arab Emirates begin the process of purchasing online in some form or another. Whether in response or in a sheer stroke of luck, General Motors has introduced its Shop Click Drive service to the UAE through Chevrolet Middle East and Al Ghandi Automotive, giving the automaker the region’s first 24-hour online car purchasing service.
“The research shows that roughly 50% of consumers in the UAE would consider purchasing a car online. Shop Click Drive allows us the ability to make it easier and simpler for customers to connect with Al Ghandi Automotive who are looking to combine the convenience of online shopping with the personal service offered at the dealership,” said Markus Leithe, Managing Director, Middle East Commercial Operations.
With Shop Click Drive, customers in the UAE can choose the vehicle they want, get an estimate of their monthly payments, reserve or purchase their vehicle of choice online, and set up a delivery. Because it is all done online, the process can be completed any time of day and on any day of the week—even on holidays.
“Partnering with Chevrolet Middle East to bring our customers in Dubai the first e-commerce experience translates perfectly with Al Ghandi Auto’s customer first philosophy. We work to provide customers with most memorable and convenient experience when purchasing their dream vehicle,” said Mark Jenkins, CEO, Al Ghandi Group.
