No matter what your fandom is–whether it’s sci-fi television or professional football–we all have a brand we proudly promote on our clothing. With the amount of fans that General Motors has, it’s no surprise that the American automotive brand has developed a new, exclusive line of T-shirts.

Created by another Michigan-based company, The Mitten State, these General Motors shirts are must-have swag for fans of classic American performance cars.

General Motors’ premium apparel line boldly touts the automaker’s automotive and Michigan-based heritage in a series of fashionable designs. Thirteen shirts made of hand-crafted materials feature vintage vehicle designs and logos from the 1950s to the 1970s. GM brand represented include Buick, Chevrolet (the Camaro and Corvette), Oldsmobile, and Pontiac.

The designs on these T-shirts was developed by The Mitten State, which has been producing ’70s and ’80s-themed apparel since 2009. Already a partner with numerous universities and companies throughout Michigan, The Mitten State now has licensed GM clothing.

“General Motors approached us with the idea and of course we were thrilled to be a part of it,” said Will Bransdorfer, co-owner of The Mitten State. “Being fans of vintage muscle cars ourselves, and with Michigan’shistoric connection to the automotive industry, we knew it would be a perfect fit.” This partnership gave the designers unprecedented access to GM’s old advertising designs and promotional materials to create these retro pieces.
