The beginning of the year can be a great time to invest in new purchases, such as a house or a car. Or both.

If you’re shopping for a new mansion in the Inver Grove Heights, MN area, you’re in luck. The Dave and Nicolle Mortensen are selling their home located on 11025 Alameda Avenue. The listing price is $1.45 million, which includes a 1996 C4 Corvette convertible with just 36,000 miles on it.

Not only does the house contain a massive 10,368 square feet of space, but it sits on a 2.5-acre lot, for those who prefer a little land with their gargantuan living space.

The residence comes loaded with typical luxuries you’d expect for such an affluent lodging. It has two staircases, five bedrooms, six bathrooms and two kitchens. The next owners could easily house parties of up to 100 people, without feeling cramped, as the Mortensens articulated. Like with any mansion, this one includes luxurious perks such as a lighted outdoor sport court, an indoor pool, as well as a playroom and theater under the garage. The garage itself has seven garage stalls to accommodate your own mini lineup of vehicles, including the Corvette the house comes with.

Although it was a great party house, “designed for multiple experiences,” as Dave said, their five children are now older and the couple are moving to a new home (with more land) that is currently being built in Afton.

The Mortensens expressed fondness for this house that has served their family and friends so well, as they prepare to wave goodbye to it. As Nicolle expressed, “We have so many great memories. It’s a home for families who love to be together and to share time with other people.”
