GM announces Factory Pre-Owned Collection

General Motors has announced a new online portal that will allow shoppers access to a number of low-mileage Factory Pre-Owned General Motors vehicles. This collection of vehicles will consist of used Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, and Cadillac vehicles that were lease vehicles, daily rentals, or fleet vehicles that have fewer than 37,000 miles on the odometer.

“We know that many of our customers who are shopping for a used car want to complete more of the process online, and that number is growing,” said GM CEO Mary Barra. “GM is already a leader in online new car shopping with our Shop-Click-Drive service, and we are expanding it with the Factory Pre-Owned Collection, making GM the first automaker to offer this choice to consumers.”

The Factory Pre-Owned Collection will boast an inventory of more than 30,000 vehicles, all of which are covered by an extended factory bumper-to-bumper limited warranty and roadside assistance. These vehicles can be viewed at FactoryPreOwnedCollection.com (beginning in February), and once a vehicle is chosen, shoppers need only select a participating GM dealer where they can take delivery of the vehicle once the purchase is finalized.

Factory Pre-Owned Collection vehicles are also offered with a three-day/150-mile exchange option, as well as a three-month trial of both the OnStar Guidance Plan and Sirius/XM Satellite Radio All-Access Package.
