GM Military Discount

General Motors announced today that it will be bringing back the GM Military Discount for active duty US military personnel, reserved and retired service personnel, and the spouses thereof. From November 3rd through January 4th, 2016, individuals fitting these categories will be eligible for discounts on the Chevy, Buick, or GMC vehicle of their choice.

“As current and former members of our armed forces celebrate Veterans Day and the holidays with their families, we want to show our appreciation for their service,” said Steve Hill, GM vice president of U.S. sales and service. “Working with key partners like Building for America’s Bravest, Hiring Our Heroes, and the Achilles Freedom Team, we hope to do even more to continue GM’s 100-year legacy of commitment to the brave men and women of the U.S. military.”

The GM Military Discount has been offered every year since 2008; in the past, it has only been available to active-duty, reserves, retirees and veterans, and spouses within a year of discharge, but for 2015, separation date will no longer be a factor in discount eligibility.
