GM of Canada Names Bruce Logan Director of Communications
General Motors of Canada announced this week that it has appointed Bruce Logan to the position of director of communications. As GM Canada’s Director of Communications, Logan will lead the company in terms of corporate, product and internal communications in addition to community and media relations and social media leadership.
“I’m pleased to welcome Bruce to GM Canada,” said David Paterson, vice president, corporate & environmental affairs, General Motors of Canada. “His experience and strong relationships will be great assets to GM Canada as we continue to grow as an innovation leader developing, building and selling great new cars, trucks and crossovers with advanced technologies for our customers.”
Logan joins the company with 15 years of communications experience under his belt, including luxury automotive marketing and communications. He most recently served in the role of vice president, client service and engagement with BMIR Communications. Prior to his time with BMIR Comm., he was the VP of corporate affairs and administration with Build Toronto Inc. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, Canadian Studies, and History from Bishop’s University and a CCM from Seneca College.
