GM Reveals 2015 HD Trucks for GMC and Chevrolet
GM introduced their all-new heavy duty versions of the GMC Sierra and the Chevrolet Silverado at the State Fair of Texas on September 26. These impressive new full-size pickup truck specimens have been designated for a 2015 release. The 2015 HD Trucks for GMC and Chevrolet, though they will not hit the market until next year, already boast segment-leading performance.

The trucks have “the highest payload – 7,374 pounds – and the highest conventional trailering rating – 19,600 pounds” of any full-size truck on the market, according to a press release. The trucks have also been redesigned on the exterior, and GM says the new Silverado’s look “communicates strength and capability, while also enhancing aerodynamics for improved efficiency and reduced wind noise.”
The State Fair of Texas was a popular destination for new truck releases this year, but no one made a bigger—in the literal sense—move than GM. These heavy duty trucks mean business.
