GMC Canyon Denali Reportedly On The Way
Auto enthusiasts have made it clear through various message boards and social media platforms that they would like to see a Denali trim added to the popular Canyon pickup truck, and it looks like officials from GMC have been paying attention as they’ve recently okayed plans for a GMC Canyon Denali, according to a report from Car and Driver.

The Denali trim will reportedly be added to the 2016 GMC Canyon for its mid-cycle revitalizing, but no exact date has been given for the arrival of this much anticipated Denali.
Expected design changes and adjustments for the new Denali trim will likely include a new mesh grille, premium leather seats, an advanced sound system, and chrome highlights, as well as an increased sticker price. There is currently a $10,000 price gap between the Canyon and the larger Sierra, which Car and Driver points out as one of the reasons a Denali trim for the Canyon makes sense.
Of all the GMCs sold thus far this year, 23% of them have been the luxury-focused Denalis.
Worldcarfans.com has speculated that the Denali trim will be based upon the Canyon Crew Cab, but that it is possible the GMC Canyon Denali could still be more than a year away.
