A lot of people really love the 2015 GMC Canyon, but it kinda wants a bit for an intimidation factor. Its smaller stature gives it a somewhat friendlier disposition, which totally flies in the face of the long-held cultural perception that all things truck must be all things angsty and rugged. Hopefully, the 2015 Canyon Nightfall Edition will swoop in and clear that particular problem right up with plenty of blacked-out aspects that are sure to make it look a bit smoother and a lot scarier.

“The new Canyon Nightfall Edition expands the Canyon lineup and gives style-conscious customers another choice,” said Duncan Aldred, vice president of GMC Sales and Marketing. “Importantly, customers get the great looks of the Canyon Nightfall Edition and its unique content at a greater value than ordering the features separately.”

The 2015 Canyon Nightfall Edition gets all equipment standard to the SLE—including a rear-vision camera, 8” Color Touch radio with GMC IntelliLink, and OnStar with 4G LTE and built-in Wi-Fi hotspot—in addition to a black grille, black assist steps, spray-in bedliner, 18” multi-spoke aluminum wheels with Dark Argent painted inserts, polished exhaust tip, automatic climate control, and remote start.

To make the Canyon Nightfall Edition more appealing to a wider array of customers, it will be available in crew cab with either 2WD or 4WD. Did we mention that it will only be offered in Onyx Black? Basically, it’s pretty much the best truck that you can buy if you’re a (outwardly) young and intrepid vampire with a nightjob that involves moving coffins around or whatever it is that vampires do for money these days.

“The Canyon is a lifestyle enabler and its accessories lineup matches lifestyles of all types,” said Aldred. “The accessories take their inspiration from how customers use their vehicle, and they are crafted cohesively with the team of designers and engineers.”

See? Totally built for vampires.
