GMC closed out the year with sales totaling 59,941 units in December, a 13% year-over-year increase. At the close of 2015, GMC’s US sales totaled 558,697 vehicles delivered, an 11.3% increase from 2014 and the brand’s best overall year since 2005. Year-end retail sales totaled 483,361 units, up 10.5% and good for a sixth consecutive year of overall retail growth.

In December, the Canyon, Savana, Sierra, Yukon, and Yukon XL all posted double-digit year-over-year gains. Canyon sales totaled 3,000 units (up 95.7%), Savana sales totaled 2,781 units (up 61.2%), Sierra sales totaled 27,438 units (up 17.1%), Yukon sales totaled 5,271 units (up 11.5%), and Yukon XL sales totaled 4,536 units (up 39.1%).

Overall, every vehicle in the GMC lineup save for the Savana saw year-over-year sales increases. Acadia was up 14.8% with 96,393 units sold, Sierra was up 5.8% with 224,139 units sold, Terrain was up 6.7% with 112,030 units sold, Yukon was up 2.8% with 42,732 units sold, and Yukon XL was up 5.3% with 31,33 units sold.

In its first full year of sales, Canyon deliveries totaled 30,077 units in the United States. What’s more, Sierra, Canyon, Yukon, and Yukon XL all boasted the highest ATPs in their respective segments, thanks in large part to 23% Denali penetration.
