The 2015 GMC Sierra 1500 and the 2015 Chevrolet Silverado will see an abundance of updates. For starters, the powerful trucks will see their engines paired with eight-speed automatic gearboxes. In addition, both models will command 12,000 pounds of max trailering capacity. The trucks will also feature the GearOn cargo management system. The latest addition to expect, according to GM Authority, are GMC Sierra 1500 and Chevrolet Silverado appearance packages—black-out packages to be precise.

Reportedly, the Chevy Silverado package will be called “Rally” and will include lots of black: black running boards and black wheels, plus a blackened grille frame and mirror plates. It even gets a black Bowtie logo. In addition, the “Rally” package gets carbon fiber “appearance” decals.

The GMC appearance package will be called “Carbon,” and while GM Authority did not offer details, we assume that they are the same or similar to those of the “Rally” package for the Silverado.

Drivers won’t have to wait long for the GMC Sierra 1500 and Chevrolet Silverado appearance packages. They’ll be available later this year on the 2015 models.
