GMC’s US sales totaled 35,671 units in January, marking a 28.6% improvement over 27,733 units sold in January 2014. Consistent with the ever-rising popularity of the pickup and crossover segments, nearly every model in GMC‘s 2015 model year lineup was up double digits in January as the brand experienced its best retail sales since 2004.

Continuing momentum from its late-2014 launch and the critical acclaim that followed (up to and including being named the Autoweek Best of the Best/Truck for 2015), the 2015 Canyon racked up sales totaling 2,205 units and its best January sales mark in 10 years.

The only model in GMC’s lineup to have a slow month in January was the Savana with 1,489 units sold, down 23.1% from the year prior.
